Prasad kerkar is a fresh face in professional blogging although his love for writing had kick started his journey as a blogger long way back.  He used to jot down his ideas, thoughts, knowledge and philosophies, and present it to the world through his writings, as a hobby blogger! This hobby blogger has stepped up to the door of professional blogging now.

Prasad Kerkar has done Bachelor Of Communication & Journalism from Pune and later received his Masters degree in Economics & Political Science from Mumbai University. He is a reporter, editor, writer and a journalist who mostly writes and covers topics related to Indian politics, socio-economic conditions in Indian society, personalities, to name a few.

He started his career as a sub-editor at Prabhat, Pune. Later he joined Navshakti, Mumbai as a sub-editor and continued working there for roughly 2 years. He was working in Loksatta for more than 20 years. He joined there as a Sub-editor and was promoted to Assistant Editor. While working at Loksatta, he had handled suppliments and launched a business suppliment under his leadership. He has also worked as a Features Editor for Divya Marathi, Mumbai. Since last 6 years, he is working as Chief Editor at Krushival – Alibag based daily newspaper.

Over the course of 33 years working experience, he has been presented with various honours and awards such as Lokmat’s Baba Davli award for business journalism, Saraswat chaitanya award for the best journalist, Association of Business Communicators award, Mumbai Marathi vruttapatra lekhak sangh award . He has also received the Chautha Stambh award for column writing.

He has a wide range of experience in journalism from reporting to editing to writing edits to features. Honesty, grit, and perseverance are qualities that makes him one of the best journalists and a writer.
